David Bishop is the Director of the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Resource Center. His responsibilities include supervision and oversight of the center, training across campus on a variety of LGBTQ and Ally topics. He also provides one-on-one support for students, staff, and faculty around sexual orientation and gender identity. He is proud to be part of the social justice movement at UCI.
Prior to working at UCI he interfaced with the campus in a liaison capacity with the UCI Health Education Center from Laguna Beach community clinic as an HIV testing counselor and again via AIDS Walk Orange County. He was eventually hired by the Health Education Center where he worked as Assistant Director for 11.5 years.
