Description: Come and enjoy a relaxed sunset and evening over Newport Harbor's backbay. A springtime sunset letting your worries melt away. What could be better than that? Sunset is my favorite time in the backbay with the wildlife bustling all around. Bring a friend and join us for a wonderful time! No previous kayaking experience needed. Direction provided with registration. Pre Registration required. Meets at the UCI Crew Base. Directions and parking information are provided at registration or can be found at the Campus Recreation website. All kayak students must wear close-toed shoes and SIGN A WAIVER/SWIM PROFICIENCY STATEMENT. Lifejackets are provided for all participants.

On the back bay of Newport Beach the water will be calm and warm to learn the basics and start to master your paddleboard. You can be one of the cool kids! Bring a friend and try something new. No experience necessary. Pre registration required. All class sessions will meet at the UCI crew base on Shellmaker Island in upper Newport Bay. Directions, parking and basic information are e-mailed after registration/before class. All SUP class students must sign a WAIVER/SWIM PROFICIENCY statement.
